Expect to achieve impressive performance with the eight-speed automatic transmission paired to the 5.7L HEMI® that produces up to 395 HP and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2020 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI® engine is available on the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, and Rebel trims.

3.6L Pentastar® V6 Engine with eTorque

The 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque is a respectable light-duty option. This engine is standardly equipped to all 2020 Ram 1500 models. The 3.6L Pentastar® is paired with eight-speed automatic transmission that aids in pumping out 305 HP and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. If you need to tow a small horse trailer or ski boat, the 7,730 lbs. of towing capacity and 2,000 lbs. of payload capacity produced by this engine should be more than sufficient.
