Can you tell me more about the powertrain and braking system in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk?

Yes! The Trackhawk's powertrain and braking system are designed for performance. As mentioned earlier, the engine comes from Dodge's Hellcat models, which is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, capable of 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. This engine can propel the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, which is partly aided by the Torque Reserve launch-control feature. This feature, also found in the 2018 Dodge Demon, allows more air flow into the engine and modifies fuel flow and spark timing before launch, allowing for a higher rpm without torque overwhelming the brakes and spinning the rear tires. The take off speed in the Trackhawk is truly astounding! The V8 engine is mated to an upgraded high-torque capacity eight-speed automatic transmission, which is then connected to a Quadra-Trac MP 3015C single-speed transfer case that varies the front to rear torque split depending on the drive mode selected. Drivers can select either Snow, Sport, Tow, Track or Auto. When in Tow mode, and with proper equipment, the Trackhawk can tow an impressive 7,200 pounds. The Trackhawk's high-performance braking system consists of 15.75-inch two-piece vented rotors with six-piston yellow Brembo calipers in the front and 13.78-inch vented rotors with four-piston yellow calipers in the rear. The front brakes are the largest brakes ever used on a Jeep!

What exterior design features set the Trackhawk apart from other SUVs?

The Trackhawk's body is wide and athletic-looking. The front fascia displays Jeep's signature seven-slot grille, but the hood is uniquely sculpted with dual heat extractors. The body is lowered and it rolls on 20-inch titanium wheels with bright yellow Brembo brake calipers peeking through. A Gloss Black rear valance and four-inch Black Chrome quad exhaust tips clad the rear. There is also unique badging specific to the Trackhawk on the front doors and rear liftgate. Nine unique exterior colors are available: Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Diamond Black, Ivory Tri-coat, Bright White, Velvet Red, Rhino, Redline 2, and True Blue.

Can you tell me more about the Trackhawk's cabin features?

Inside the cabin, the Trackhawk has a 7-inch instrument cluster display that showcases a variety of gauges and performance data, such as horsepower, torque and current transmission gear. To the right of the instrument cluster is a large 8.4-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect infotainment system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth sync with the system, allowing you to stay connected on the road. The racing-inspired seats are covered in supple Nappa leather and suede with signature embroidered "Trackhawk" logos. There is an available Harman Kardon audio system, an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and an available dual-screen rear entertainment center with Blu-ray for the kids.
